They say it is a ‘journey.’
I am not ready for an extended trip.
Some call it a ‘rollercoaster.’
I am not in the mood for a ride.
It feels more like quick sand today.
Just trying to survive.
I remember though, “we are weak,
Alas, my God is on my side.
I am not in this alone.
He is hears my cries for help,
Yes, he saw that tantrum thrown.
Yet He loves me so
And He loves you too.
Our grief can be overwhelming
But good thing He covers it all
Sweet friends, we can feel so confused
And question with, “why this way oh, why?”
But God is our great Comforter
And I feel Him giving me rest tonight.

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 Corinthians 12:9 (ESV)
